Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information the Invoice Maker Android app ("the app", "we", "us") collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. The app is published by Mohamad Assaf, trading as a2zTech.co, Lebanon, who is the controller of the account data described below.
The short version: your invoices, customers, and products stay on your device. We only collect what is needed to run your account, keep your business profile backed up, and prevent trial abuse.
Information we collect
- Account information. When you create an account we collect your name and email address to authenticate you. This is handled by Firebase Authentication (a Google service).
- Business profile. The business details you enter (business name, owner name, phone, email, address, tax number, and logo) are backed up to your account so they are available if you sign in on another device.
- Invoices, customers, products, and stock. This data is stored only on your device. We do not upload, collect, or have access to it unless you explicitly export a backup file and choose to share it yourself.
- Purchase information. If you subscribe or buy a lifetime unlock, purchase history is processed through Google Play Billing to verify your entitlement. We never receive or store your payment card details.
- Device identifier. We record a non-resettable device identifier the first time an account uses the free trial on that device, solely to prevent the trial from being reset by creating new accounts on the same device.
- Diagnostic and usage data. We use Firebase Crashlytics and Firebase Analytics to collect crash reports and general app performance data so that we can find and fix bugs.
How we use this information
- To create and maintain your account and let you sign in across devices
- To restore your business profile if you use the app on a new device
- To verify active subscriptions and lifetime purchases
- To prevent abuse of the free trial
- To diagnose crashes and improve the app's reliability
- To respond if you contact us for support
Data storage and security
Account and business profile data is stored on Google Firebase infrastructure and transmitted over encrypted (TLS/HTTPS) connections. Invoices, customers, products, and stock remain in a local database on your device and are never transmitted unless you manually export and share a backup file. Your data may be processed in countries other than your own, by Google as our service provider.
Sharing of information
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. Information is processed by our service providers, Google Firebase (authentication, cloud backup, crash and analytics reporting) and Google Play Billing (purchases), solely to operate the app.
Data retention and deletion
You can permanently delete your account at any time from Settings, Delete Account. This removes your account and its cloud-backed data. Because invoices, customers, and products are stored locally, uninstalling the app or clearing its data removes them from that device. They cannot be recovered afterward unless you previously exported a backup. See also how to delete your account and data.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict some processing. Contact us at the address below and we will respond within a reasonable time.
Children's privacy
Invoice Maker is a business tool not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes are reflected by the "last updated" date above.
